Join IOC and FoCo Trash Mob for an hour of activism!
Take some time during your lunch hour on December 16th at 12pm MT (2pm EST) to make calls as part of our campaign Don't Mesh with Me: Free the Fruit!
Mesh packaging is unnecessary single-use plastic, plain and simple. Consumers deserve the option to buy produce in bulk and we know distributors can supply it. Call your how local grocers to let them know that you want mandarin oranges available mesh-free.
Join us at any point during the hour to make calls and add to our data collection. We will open with a short presentation on the campaign and the problem with single-use mesh packaging, spend some time making calls to grocers we frequent, and then reconvene to discuss next steps in the campaign.
