Dive into the enchanting depths of the ocean with us at the Masquerade Mermaid Ball in beautiful Boulder, Colorado on October 14 at The Studio Boulder. This fundraiser is more than just a party—it's a chance to protect our precious seas. Join us on our mission to ensure a brighter, cleaner future for the ocean we love. Don your most magical masks, and let's dance the night away for a cause that's as deep as the ocean itself.
The event will feature music and dancing, delicious catered food and drinks, an online auction, costume contest, pirates, and, of course, mermaids and mermen! Come mingle with other ocean lovers and celebrate our connection to the ocean and the amazing ability we all have to make a difference - no matter where we live.
Attire is whimsical, oceanic, and cocktail. There will be a costume contest as well, so bring your oceanic best! Categories are:

- Best Ocean-Ready Outfit
- Most Creative Creature
All proceeds will support our mission of building land-to-sea stewardship. We do this through protecting our ocean, watersheds, and climate, and working to prevent plastic pollution.
Parking is plentiful in the parking lots outside the venue.

Your support allows us keep protecting our ocean planet, from summit to sea.
Ocean Protection
We address the most serious threats facing our ocean—climate change, overfishing, pollution, offshore oil development, overfishing, a lack of strongly protected areas—through federal policy and legislation, building relationships with policymakers, serving as a resource for inland constituencies, and facilitating education, outreach, and community building.
Watershed Health
We address the impacts of agriculture on our watersheds, microplastics in our waterways, and host creek cleanups across the country. We facilitate community engagement and advocate for watershed-friendly lawn and yard care practices, healthy personal care products, and support bans on toxic sunscreens around the world.
Plastic Prevention
We prevent plastic pollution through campaigns targeting single-use plastics, working collectively with coalitions and as part of larger movements to get to the root cause of plastic pollution, scientific studies that assess the extent of microplastics in our waterways, and legislative change at the state and federal levels.
Climate Change
To protect our ocean we must protect our climate. Our ocean is one of the most powerful carbon sinks we have and restoring ecosystems one of the best ways we have for addressing the climate crisis. We support legislation to address the climate crisis and advocate for including ocean protection as a key solution.
